Traditionally, Chai is boiled in milk before it is strained and consumed hot or over ice. Drinking hot Chai tea is very warming to the body and acts as a powerful digestive aid, as it contains spices like ginger and cardamom, which are excellent for maintaining and improving digestive health.

How to Brew:
Add 1 Tablespoon per 8oz of your choice milk into a sauce pan and bring to a boil. After the milk comes to a boil, turn off the heat and cover with a lid, letting it steep for 10 minutes.
Strain tea and sweeten with Dojosweet to desired sweetness.
You may also steep in a teapot like any other tea with the same ratios, and you can steep it for more or less time depending on desired strength.
For dirty chai, and an extra kick, add 1 oz espresso per 8 oz chai tea. Our traditional stone roasted Japanese coffee beans make an excellent pairing.
