Wild Japanese Single-Tree Green Tea
A rare, hand-rolled green tea gathered from a single wild Japanese tea tree. Bamboo Jade Dew is an extraordinary expression of Japanese tea in its most elemental form.
Rather than being blended from the harvest of an entire field or plantation, this tea is single-tree origin which is gathered from one wild-growing Japanese tea tree to preserve its individual character.
Each leaf is carefully harvested and hand-rolled into dense, irregular twists and curls,
creating the dark jade appearance seen in the dry tea. Once introduced to hot water, these tightly worked leaves slowly release and unfurl, revealing surprisingly large, intact leaves beneath their compact form. The transformation is beautiful to watch. What begins as a handful of deep green, almost charcoal-colored rolled leaves expands dramatically in the cup, opening into supple shades of bamboo, olive and jade. The resulting infusion is exceptionally clear, with a delicate pale golden-green color reminiscent of morning dew collecting on young bamboo leaves.
This is not a highly standardized green tea designed for uniformity. Bamboo Jade Dew retains the individuality of the tree from which it came and the hands that shaped it. Variations in the size, curl and appearance of the leaves are part of its character which is evidence of a tea made leaf by leaf rather than manufactured toward visual perfection.

From One Tree, One Place, One Harvest
Single-tree tea offers an unusually intimate way to experience Camellia sinensis. Just as the character of a particular grapevine or fruit tree can reflect its individual growing conditions, a tea kept separate from a single tree preserves a degree of individuality that disappears when many plants are blended together.
Bamboo Jade Dew takes that idea even further through its wild Japanese origin and traditional hand-rolled preparation, allowing the natural structure of the leaf to remain remarkably visible once brewed.
A Tea That Continues to Open
The large whole leaves make Bamboo Jade Dew particularly well suited to mindful, repeated infusions. Rather than releasing everything into the first cup, the leaf gradually opens with successive steepings, allowing you to experience the tea as it evolves.
Watching the tightly rolled jade leaves awaken in water is as much a part of the experience as drinking the tea itself.
