Shoyu is a classic Asian condiment that provides a savory, salty flavor to any dish.

This rich and complex flavor is produced in the old world style, and packs a flavorful punch when added to veggies, salad, soup, and sautéed dishes.

We have been waiting patiently for 4 years as these Shoyus mature to perfection.

Shenblossom Shoyu/Tamari

Our Shoyu is live, fermented and unpasteurized, containing a plethora of enzymes and beneficial bacteria that promote gut health and digestion.

Uses:

  • Add to dips and dressings
  • Add to soup stock
  • Marinades
  • Sauces
  • Stand alone as a condiment

Each bottle contains 250ml of Shoyu. While our Shoyu varies from batch to batch, we know the importance to some of knowing the average sodium amounts in foods and condiments. Our Shoyu is scores of magnitudes lower in terms of sodium content than mainstream soy sauces and shoyu. The salt used in our brining method is pure sun-dried coral salt, and the end result yields a range of 530-700mg per TBS. Compare that to the regular white salt used in mainstream brands - 6900mg per TBS! Some folks use soy sauce substitutes to cut the sodium while still enjoying the flavor, and ours is right on par with those, but also has all the prebiotic and mineralization contents that makes our Shoyu an exquisite product across the board.
