Our Tri-Mushroom Salt is a rare blend of glacial salt, wild porcini mushroom, matsutake, and truffle.

This finishing salt is used in small amounts after food is prepared to add a salty and savory flavor to any dish.

Glacial Salt

Glacial salt is a type of salt that is hard to find in the way that ours is produced. This rare salt is a labor intensive salt to create, and is one of the purest salts on the planet.

Spring fed water is collected high in the mountains in Japan, and goes through a process of freezing and thawing until a salt crust on the stones is is formed.

It then goes through 3 seasons of winter with freezing and sun drying evaporation to naturally concentrate the mineral levels of this amazing salt.

Depending on the year, the spring can be more or less productive, so it is a real treat to have access to this type of salt.

We have infused our salt with wild mushrooms, which imparts a savory and earthy flavor to the glacial salt.

Porcini is the fruiting body of a fungus that creates a symbiotic relationship with trees, and has a thick white stalk and a dark brown cap. It is well known to be high in antioxidants, promotes digestive health, and is a good source of protein.

Matsutake is a medicinal mushroom that has long been used for its immune-modulating and immune boosting properties. It helps to support heart health and has many benefits in regards to keeping the body healthy.

Truffle is perhaps one of the most well known culinary mushrooms of all time! Like most medicinal mushrooms, truffles also act to support immuno-modulation, heart health, liver support, and anti-oxidation.

YUM! Tastes like black truffles, but better!

I love salt and I love truffle mushrooms, so of course I just want to eat this mushroom salt right out of the jar! Amazing on potatoes, and guilt free since it is full of potent medicinal properties.

Absolutely delicious

I am a mushroom fanatic. Fresh, dried, extracts - you'll find all of these in my home. So when I saw this, I said to myself that this could be too good to be true. Nope. This stuff is delicious. I can add it to anything and many times use it as a finishing salt. Think robust flavor. You got the flavors right in this blend. I'll definitely be back for more.
